2009 Wood Heat Conference Planned For Oregon

The Oregon Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (OHPBA) has announced it will host “Renewable Heating Symposium 2009: A Conference on Wood and Pellet Fuel for Residential Heating” on April 15, 2009, at the Salem Conference Center in Salem, Ore.

This conference will explore a variety of factors relating to residential biomass wood heating, ranging from environmental and performance issues to current and pending regulatory policies.

“This is going to be the place to be. The merging of minds – including hearth technology experts, regulatory officials and air quality regulators – will result in stimulating conversation and real solutions,” says Harvey Gail, OHPA executive director.
